1. When you read the dictionary
You can read NoCapWiki without creating an account. To deliver a page or search result, our hosting infrastructure processes technical request information such as your IP address, browser headers, requested URL and request time. We use this information to serve the site and diagnose security or availability problems.
The current application does not create visitor accounts or record page views or search queries in its dictionary tables. API Gateway access logging is not enabled. The application's AWS CloudWatch log group is set to delete its operational logs after seven days; those logs may contain technical error details.
2. When you contact us
If you email HOBOS, we process your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to send so we can respond to privacy, content-correction or rights requests. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
We keep inquiry correspondence for one year after the request is resolved, then delete it, unless a longer period is required by law or needed for an active dispute. NoCapWiki does not currently accept word suggestions through its website; we will update this policy before opening submissions.
3. Service providers
Amazon Web Services (AWS) delivers the website and API and holds operational logs. Supabase hosts the dictionary database used by our server. The website and database are configured in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Your browser does not connect directly to Supabase for dictionary pages.
Emails sent to our support address are routed through Cloudflare Email Routing and received in a Google Gmail mailbox. These providers process the information needed to deliver their services and may process it outside Korea. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and browser storage
NoCapWiki currently does not load Google AdSense, analytics or social sign-in scripts, and we do not set advertising cookies. The site's navigation framework may use your browser's session storage to restore your scroll position; that information stays in your browser.
We publish an AdSense account-verification meta tag and an ads.txt file while Google reviews the site. These identify our publisher account; they do not load advertising scripts or set advertising cookies.
Advertising, analytics or user submissions would change how information is handled. We will update this policy and any required notices before enabling those features.
5. Your choices and rights
You may browse without emailing us. To ask about information connected with an email inquiry, or to request access, correction or deletion, write to support@hobos.studio. We may ask for information needed to verify that a request concerns you before acting on it.
